These terms govern your use of the Red-Green application and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Red-Green is a workplace mood tracking tool. You record a single binary vote (red or green) each day. The Service stores your votes, provides personal analytics, and generates anonymised aggregated reports for employers.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date
• You may not share your account or allow others to vote on your behalf
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than personal workplace mood tracking
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service
• Circumvent any security measures or access controls

5. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described there.

Aggregated reports provided to employers are fully anonymised. Individual votes are never shared with your employer or any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Red-Green. You retain ownership of your vote data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to operate the Service as described in these terms and our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes in advance.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your personal data and vote history are permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Red-Green is a self-awareness tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. It is not a substitute for professional support.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red-Green shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
